It was determined that the staff working in the tea oven lifted the water filled containers in an improper manner. By using the NIOSH method, the lift index was calculated as 3.7 and 5.4 for both the initial and final positions, respectively. The work was identified as very risky because the lift index value in both positions was greater than 3. It has been identified as a job that needs improvement and a recommendation for improvement is offered because the employee's repetition during the day may lead to work-related musculoskeletal disorders in the long run. The work of transporting dishwashers in the kitchen was also analyzed by the Snook charts method and it was proposed to use a hand-carried wheeled vehicle to carry the basket as a remedy even though the employee had no risk of carrying this loa
