There have been many economic, political and social crises in the world. Although these crises have been largely at the national or regional level, some economic crises, such as the Great Depression and the Global Financial Crisis, have significantly affected the world. In this study, the effects of the Global Financial Crisis on the G20 members were examined using the Gray Relational Analysis method, which is one of the multi-criteria decision-making techniques. In this respect, various macroeconomic data belonging to G20 countries were analyzed in three periods of six years as the pre-crisis period, crisis period and post-crisis period, including the years 2000 and 2017. As a result of the study, it was observed that a large number of countries were negatively affected by the Global Financial Crisis
