Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)is a multisystemic disease by itself and the coexistence with other comorbid diseases is quite common, as well. Comorbidities in COPD have significant health and economic cosequences. Neverthless, how comorbidities should be assessed and managed in COPD is still not fully understood.
