Aim: Adequate selection of donors is essential not only to decrease the risks of complications for the donors but also to increase the survival of both the graft and the recipient in living donor liver transplantation. Therefore, an suitable selection of donors is a very important in living donor liver transplantation. In this study, we evaluated causes of donor candidates elimination in right lobe living donor liver transplantation in our center. Material Methods: 129 patients undergoing right lobe living donor liver transplantation in our center between April 2014 and December 2017. In this period, we retrospectively evaluated 281 donor candidates. Results: 152 ( % 54 ) donor candidates eliminated. The most frequent donor candidate elimination causes were 52 donor candidate ( % 34.2 ) small remnant liver size and 42 donor candidate ( % 27.6 ) hepatic steatosis. Conclusions: In our study, The most frequent donor candidate elimination causes were small remnant liver size and hepatic steatosis in right lobe living donor liver transplantation
