Opinions of Secondary School Students Attending 4006-TUB?TAK Science Fair About Science FairKeywords: Fen bilimleri,4006-TüB?TAK Bilim Fuar?,??renci g?rü?leri Abstract: One of the scientific applications in which scientific process skills take place by using technological tools is the science fairs organized in schools. The most important of these is the 4006-TUB?TAK Science Fairs that support schools. Thanks to them, science fairs can be realized through a support given to the schools. The aim of this study is to examine the opinions of the students who participated in the Scientific Fairs of TUB?TAK, No. 116B906, in 2015-2016 academic year. The qualitative research design was carried out using phenomenology. Participants of the study consist of 12 students who continue to the 8th grade in secondary school. A semi-structured interview form was used to get students' views. Interview data were analyzed with the NVivo 9.0 program. In the analysis of the data, descriptive analysis method was applied. The findings of the study were collected under the categories of "General Opinion about the Fair", "Preparatory Fair", "Achieved Skills", "Effect on Science Course" and "Effect on Daily Living". According to the results, students have expressed that they have gained positive attitudes and skills during the project preparation and presentation processes. It is believed that schools, science education specialists and science teachers who prepare students for science fairs will benefit from this study
