EFFICIENCY EVALUATION OF ORAL AND DENTAL HEALTH HOSPITALS (ADSH) BY USING DATA ENVELOPMENT ANALYSIS APPROACH

Oral and dental health is an indispensable part of general health and a sign of quality of life. It has been scientifically proven that there is a two-way relationship between oral and dental health and general health status. Diseases of tooth and female bearing tissues are the most common health problems in almost all countries of the world, as in our country. In addition, these diseases are not considered fatal because they are not fatal. Oral and dental health constitutes a part of general health, and with some other characteristics it is an important public health issu. The main objective of this study is to evaluate the comparative technical efficiencies of 21 oral and dental health hospitals affiliated to the Ministry of Health with Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) technique, to examine the input and output levels of productive and inefficient ODHH’s, to determine how much the input and output levels should be reduced or increased so that they can be reduced to efficient levels
