While taking a break at the Erimtan Archaeology and Art Museum we can also get the chance to see a period from the Ottoman history in a different language and perspective. A satisfactory journey into literature, linguistics and translation, is awaiting its readers in this issue. I would like to take the opportunity to thank all the authors, referees, my assistant editor, the members of the Editorial Board and the technical team that have made this possible. I would also like to share some of the pleasing technical developments with our readers and authors. With this issue, our journal has started giving a DOI number. This is a development that will increase the access to our authors to a great extent. In addition, the articles that are given a DOI number and are still in preview waiting to be published, though their review process is complete, can now be cited as printed material. I would particularly like to thank Tolga ?AKMAK, my assistant editor, who with his qualified and selfless efforts always supported the digitalization process of our journal and contributed a lot in switching to the DOI system. Establishment of the system of field editorship is another technical development that begins with this issue. Field editorship speeds up the pre-assessment process and guarantees the article to be sent to a competent referee. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all the field editors who accepted to support us
