ENERGY ANALYSIS OF VAPOR COMPRESSION REFRIGERATION SYSTEM USING LPG (R1270-PROPYLENE) AS REFRIGERANT

In this study, energy analysis of the vapor compression refrigeration system using LPG (R1270-Propylene), one of the hydrocarbon refrigerants, was performed. Coolpack program is used for calculations. The effects of LPG (R1270-Propylene) on system performance for different operating conditions are examined. In the analysis based on the evaporator temperature change, the highest COP value of the cycle is 8.65 for -1 oC evaporator temperature, 25 oC condenser temperature
