Investigating School Principals’ Technological Leadership Behaviors

The aim of this research is to determine technology leadership behaviors of school principals in the process of providing and using education technologies. The research consists of 19 school principals working at ？stanbul Beylikdüzü Province in 2017-2018 academic year. The research designed as a qualitative research by using semi-structured interview form. In this technique, interview questions thought to be asked were included in the form and other questions directed during the interviews. Data obtained from the interviews were analyzed and interpreted with content analysis. The study findings revealed that school principals pursue the technological leadership roles as regards planning strategic goals, integrating technology to educational and administrative environments, providing and encouraging professional development of teachers in use of educational technologies, providing necessary support for teachers, cooperating while getting and updating technologies in order to ensure excellence, taking care the needs of the school and providing resources
