Sociolog？cal View to The Fundamental Liberal Principles in The Qur’anic Projection

Our study is shaped around the concept of liberalism, one of the ideologies that lead contemporary societies.The problem of the study in this context is to examine the implications of basic liberal principles in the context of the Qur'an. The aim of this study is to understand the Qur'an's perspectives on individualism, freedom, market economy and limited state principles, which are the basic principles of liberalism. While the principle of individualism is considered that the individual is at the centre of liberalism and that the benefit of the individual is given priority compared to the society, it is noted that in the Qur'an dimension, the principles of individualism are based not on the individual but on the whole. As a last principle, when we examine the principle of State limitation from liberalism, while limiting the duties and responsibilities of the state in the fields of law, security and defense, contrary to liberalism, the principle of” to enjoin good and to forbid evil" as a reference to meaningful and organized communities instead of referring to the state in the Qur'a
