Abstract: There are different methods to estimate the dynamic impact forces that are conveyed onto the railway tracks by rolling train wheels. One of these methods involve the estimation of dynamic impact forces via equations developed by scaled or full scale tests or equations based on data collected on operational railway tracks and statistical evaluation of data. One other method involves the use of high performance computer programs to develop models of the railway track and numerical analysis of these models by high performance computers. Bezgin Method, which was developed due to the need to produce an analytical method that can yield simple mathematical equations, resulted in the Extended Bezgin Equations. The dynamic impact force estimations of these equations were found to be successful in estimating dynamic impact wheel forces based on their comparisons with the estimates of advanced finite element models of railway tracks. Both the method and the developed equations were introduced into the international railway literature. This study will reintroduce these equations in Turkish
