AN EXAMPLE OF THE REFLECTION TO THE RELIGIOUS LITERATURE OF PROPHET’S PARABLES “SULTAN WALAD AND HIS PERSIAN RUBAIS”Keywords: Sultan Veled,Mevlana,Rubai,Peygamberler ve K?ssalar? Abstract: Sultan Walad, the eldest son of Mawlana, was born in a city whose name is Karaman nowadays in 1226. Sultan Walad who studied in Konya and Damascus also improved himself in scientific and mystic subjects by attanding his father’s conversations. After his father’s death, he founded the Mawlawiya order and became the sheikh of this order in 1285. He remained as a sheikh until 1312 that is his death time. After his death he was buried into the mauseloum where his father was buried before. Sultan Walad’s works are Diwan, Ibtidaname, Rebabname, Intihaname and Maarif. An interpretative and didactic style is seen in Sultan Walad’s poems, a poet and mystic in the way of his father. Sultan Walad, who generally wrote his poems in Persian language, has also got Turkish, Persian-Turkish, Persian-Turkish-Greek poems.
