USING MACBETH AND MABAC METHODS IN THE SELECTION OF ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING (ERP) SYSTEMS

Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems enable faster and easier decision making by coordination between different units of enterprises. Therefore, the selection of the right ERP system is a very important issue for enterprises. Since there are many criteria to be considered in the selection of these systems, it will be possible to take advantage of the multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) methods. In this study, it was aimed to choose the best ERP system by using MACBETH and MABAC methods as integrated in the MCDM methods. The importance weights of the criterion calculated with MACBETH, which is a subjective method; the system alternatives were evaluated by MABAC method. According to the results of the analysis, it is concluded that the most important criteria are functionality, ease of use and brand image; the best performing system alternative is SAP
