PROPOSALS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF TURKISH DEFENSE INDUSTRY EXPORTS

The political power of an country is substantially determined by the existence of military forces and a strong defense industry that supports this force.Turkey is located in one of the world's most geopolitically risky region. Our country aims to have a deterrent military power due to the threats from the foundation of the Republic. With the law numbered 3238, in 1985, the establishment of the Undersecretariat of Defense Industry and the Turkish Defense Industry sector are in a continuous development. In addition, Turkish defense industry has a considerable potential in terms of product and market options. There is a need for new ways to improve this potential consistently and to increase export potential.
