Sustainability, which covers the environmental, economic and social dimensions is the term regarding the rights of future generations that should not be taken away from them when suplying the needs of the present generations. E-commerce is a major form of trade which develops rapidly. In the related sections about e-commerce at the end of the literature sections, the sustainability of electronic commerce and environmental, economic and social dimensions were investigated by considering sustainability. In the empirical part of the research, perceptions of the Internet users about the sustainability of the e-commerce are evaluated through an questionnaire. In the light of the findings obtained in this study, it is seen that the sustainability of electronic commerce with the effects of environmental and social factors will be ensured. It is concluded that business engaged in electronic commerce need to notice the environmental and social factors in order to sustain their long-term works
