Ibn al-Kabak?b?'s Work Named Mecma'u-Sür?r ve Matla'u'?-?üm?s ve'l-Büd?rKeywords: Kur'an,k?raat,?az k?raat,?bnü’l-Kabak?b?,Mecma‘u’s-sür?r Abstract: Mecma'u's-sür?r and matla'u'?-?üm?s ve'l-büd?r, qualified as a source for the studies involving exceptional readings of Q'uran (shazz qiraat) which were carried out in the Islamic world, especially in our country, was written in verse by ?bnü’l-Kabak?b? in Gazze in the year of 831. Until a certain period in the Ottoman Empire, just as the Istanbul and Egypt Tradition, Kabak?b? tradition had also been taught, but in later periods because of the decline in the adherence to the discipline of qiraat, this tradition which involves exceptional readings was abandoned and forgotten. The mentioned Kabak?b? tradition was imposed by this work, which is our subject matter, and was used as the main source. The work was composed of two main parts, namely method and farsh like most books containing qiraat, and in the couplets until the method section, the particularities which are required to be known by the people who will study in the discipline of qiraat were mentioned. In the present study, the analysis of Mecma'u's-sür?r and matla'u'?-?üm?s ve'l-büd?r, also called Kabak?biyye, consisting of 1510 couplets, was performed. During this analysis, the sections regarding method and farsh were examined, with regard to the name of the work, contents, sections, sources of the work, the abbreviations used by the author and some technical information about qiraat
