THE PLACE OF DISABILITIES IN THE TURKISH SOCIAL SECURITY SYSTEM

Everyone has a social environment that is born from social life. Persons work life is also included in this social environment. In case of an accident in business life, it becomes a disability to become disabled. In this context, it would not be wrong to say that everyone is a disabled candidate. Increasing growth in our country has brought mobility to the business world. In this context, increasing occupational accidents and occupational diseases make people unable to work. Everyone has the right to social security in our Constitution. The social security of the insured who are covered by our state is provided by state support. Many of the state-sponsored assistance to disabled people is provided by Social Service institutions as a non-contributory system. In addition, the rights provided by the premium system should be known. Short-term work accidents, occupational disease, such as; and social security is ensured with insurance, which is defined as long term, such as invalidity and death. The aim of this study is to raise awareness in the society with the mentioned insurances and rights provided to disabled individuals. In this study, the concept of disability is discussed extensively and various definitions are given. place was given to the disabled in the world and Turkey. In addition, the premium services given to people with disabilities are briefly mentioned. On the other hand, the help and discounts provided to the disabled in public and private sectors are briefly explained
