Abstract:

Individual learning has an important place in the learning process of individuals who need special education. It is important that integration of instructional technologies into learning teaching processes for support of individual learning. In this context, it can be said that technology self-efficacy levels of teachers working in private educational institutions play an important role in providing successful technology integration. From this point of view, it is aimed to examine self-efficacy levels in instructional technology of the teachers working in special education and rehabilitation centers from various angles in the study. The study group comprises 51 teachers working in special education and rehabilitation centers in Amasya. In the study, "The Scale of Self-Efficacy of Teacher Candidates Concerning the Educational Technology Standards" adapted to Turkish by ?oklar (2008) was used as data collection tool. According to the findings of the study, the technological self-efficacy levels of the teachers were found to be high level in the overall scale and in the five sub-dimensions of scale. In addition, it has been determined that the self-efficacy levels of participants in the sub-dimension "Technological Processes and Concepts Information" were determined to be "very high". According to professional experience, it was found that significantly differentiated among self-efficacy levels in instructional technology of the teachers working in special education and rehabilitation centers. It can be said that participants with less experience as professional experience have a higher level of self-efficacy in instructional technology. Besides, it has been determined that self-efficacy levels in instructional technology of female teachers are higher than male teachers
