EXAMINING THE RELATION BETWEEN PROBLEMS OF ADOLESCENCE AND EMOTION REGULATION STRATEGIES OF HIGHSCHOOL STUDENTS

The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between problems of adolescence and emotion regulation strategies of highschool students. The study sample was composed of 311 students who study at high schools in Zonguldak and they were selected through convenient sampling. 161 of the students were male, 150 of them were female. Data were collected by using “Emotion Regulating Scale” and “The Problems Of Adolescence Scale”. The statistical analyses were performed with Pearson Correlation Analysis. According to the difference analyses, there is no difference with gender and class dimensions for emotion regulation points. There is also no difference at students gender dimension in problems of adolescence of students. Besides, in class level dimensions; significant diversity at problems of adolescence of students.
