A Different Approach to the Matter of Gradualism in Legislation

Because the Qur’an aims to build a new society in theory and practice, it was gradually revealed over the period of 23 years, according to circumtances that have been experienced and needed to correction. In the researches, step by step inspiration of Qur’an is based on gradualism in legislation. They claim that gradualism exists in halals and harams, other than that alcohol and gambling are forbidden in four stages. However during our readings, we have seen that gradualism exists in invitation, not legislation. And we have determined that alcohol and usury are forbidden directly, not gradually. In this context, we have tried to express the arguments of this view in this study
