EUTHANASIA: AN EVALUATION ACCORDING TO TURKISH LAWKeywords: ?tanazi,Ya?am Hakk?,?lüm hakk? Abstract: Life for real people is the time between birth and death, that are legal events. Whole and alive birth determines the starting moment of the natural personality; while death determines the moment of the ending moment. From a legal point of view, death is considered as a moment, but as a medical process that begins with the arrest of respiration and circulatory system, followed by the death of the nervous system cells and, eventually, other cells. Although the right to life, which is one of the most basic human rights, is accepted, it has long been debated whether or not the death, which is on the edge of this right, is a right. The focus of this discussion is the medical and legal acceptability of euthanasia, which is also expressed as the death aid, the right to die or the right to demand to die. In this study, where euthanasia will be evaluated in terms of Turkish law, firstly the concept of euthanasia and its types will be emphasized and the comparison of euthanasia with similar concepts will be made and then the general perspectives and regulations about euthanasia will be addressed. Afterwards, the applicability of euthanasia in our country will be evaluated within the framework of legislation and the study will be endeded with studies intended to determine the reflections about euthanasia
