The Effects Of Abrasion Resistance Of The Two-Pass Hardfacing With Different Chemical Content WireKeywords: A??nma,Sert Dolgu,Paso Abstract: In places where the corrosive environments are dense, hardfacing is frequently used, especially in soil scraping tools, stone, and mines, in order to prevent the wear of materials. In this study, Elhard 350 + Elhard600S (EE) and Hardcore600G + Hardcore 63-O (HH) hard filler wires were applied to AISI 4140 steel. The effect of the chemical content and the two passes on microstructure, hardness and abrasion resistance were determined. Vickers hardness measurements were made under 10 kg load, dry-slip conditions under the ceramic ball for the tribological analysis of hard-fill coatings CSM trademark wear test unit was used. All abrasion tests were performed at 10 N load, at room temperature, with a shear rate of 10 cm/s at a total shear distance of 1000 m. The volume losses of the samples were calculated by wear track roughness after the abrasion test. The effects of chemical content and two passes on the wear resistance were investigated. As a result, the abrasion resistance due to homogeneous martensite microstructure due to chemical content and phase diagram was determined as highest in the Elhard 350 + Elhard600S (EE) sample
