Abstract:

This study deals with students’ recording of their own trial lessons during teaching practice and discussion/evaluation of these obtained videos in the monitoring seminar. After the theoretical study, the research is conducted on 10 German Language Teaching students from Uludag University. Data analysis is made by using Kuckartz et al (2007) qualitative evaluation method through two questionnaires and a semi-structured interview. The results show that the course video application is evaluated positively for professional development since students can develop their own teaching processes in this context through the discussion of collective video-assisted recordings
