FROM “RETURN TO RITUAL” TO “INTERCULTURALISM” : PROJECTIONS IN PETER BROOK’S STAGE PERFORMANCES AND “MAHABHARATA”

In the second half of 20th century it has been observed that there is different processes of search with Contemporary/Alternative theatre performances, and that a need for the return to rituals has emerged. This article reveals at what point the functionality aimed to brought back again to theatre appears in Peter Brook’s -pre-intercultural and intercultural period- works with a return to rituals
