BRICS COUNTR？ES AS GLOBAL POWER POTENT？ALS AND TURKEY

The 21st century is undergoing rapid and significant changes in both political developments and global economic order. The global crisis of 2008 has differentiated its dimensions by impacting this change process. When the main economic indicators are analyzed, a decline has been observed in the Western countries in the last decade, and a movement towards higher places in the developing countries. Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, which were later included in this group, attracted attention and became the subject of many analyzes. These analyzes suggest that the future will be shaped by emerging BRICS economies and that these countries will become the dominant power in the world economy as a global power. In this study we examined the basic economic characteristics as well as the general features of emerging economies, which are regarded as the BRICS countries, economic principal of the BRICS countries, Turkey and social indicators were compared on the basis and in terms of trade volume between Turkey and these countries, the first two places share in Russia and relations with China in Turkey , risks and opportunitie
