Perceptions of safety climate refer to employees’ view of how their organization handles safety-related processes. This study addresses the relationship between helicopter mechanic and avionics technicians’ perceptions of safety climate and facets of job performance, as the former provide a significant portion of the labor requirement in military aviation. The study also problematizes the role of self-efficacy perceptions in the aforementioned relationship. To that end, data was collected on a sample of 195 military aviation employees working in Ankara, Malatya and ?zmir through survey method. The recruited data was analyzed through IBM SPSS and Amos statistical analysis software. According to the findings of the study, there are significantly positive correlations between safety climate perceptions and job performance subscales. Self-efficacy has a moderating role in the relationship between perceptions of safety climate and task performance. However, the relationship between perceptions of safety climate and contextual performance is not moderated by self-efficacy
