The Role of Supplier Innovativeness in The Effect of Innovation Strategy On Innovation Performance

In this study, it was investigated the effect of firm innovation strategy on supplier innovativness and firm innovation performance in manufacturing firms. In addition, the mediator role of supplier innovativeness in the impact of firm innovation strategy on innovation performance is examined. For this purpose, data gathered with survey technique from Turkey's first 1000 exporting firms. The data obtained from 115 firms were analyzed by structural equation modelling and sobel test. As a result of the analyzes, it has been found that the innovation strategy has a positive effect on innovation performance and supplier innovativeness. At the same time, it has been determined that supplier innovativeness has a partial mediation role in the impact of firm innovation strategy on innovation performance
