Today, accounting output is one of the most significant factors affecting the decisions of business owners, managers, and stakeholders. It is possible that undergraduate students in Y generation who are still studying when they are thought to have graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences are likely to take part in this profession group in the future. The main objective of studying in this context is to examine the accounting profession perceptions of undergraduate students on the Y generation.In addition, investigating whether the perceptions of accounting profession differ according to the demographic characteristics of the students constitute the sub-purpose of the research. In this direction, a questionnaire study was conducted with 125 students studying at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of a state university. As a result of the research; it has been determined that the perception of the accounting profession of the students varies according to gender. However, it has been determined that the perception of the accounting profession does not differ according to the students’ department, class and working status in accounting are
