Hurufi elements in Masnavi of Cavidanname (a basic book deemed as a source for hurufis) translator Dervish Murtaza

In this study, the Mesnevis of 119 couplets of Dervi？ Murtaza Bekta？i registered in Konya Koyuno？lu Museum Library Handwriting 15063 were handled. Dervish Murtaza Bektashi's work is important in that Hurufism affects the world of thought and culture of Alevis-Bektashism. In this article masnavi of Dervish Murtaza Bektashi who was apparently Bektashi but in reality he was Hurufi who had significant contributions on Hurufi people, liven 16th – 17th centuries, translated Cavidan-？ Sa？ir which is the brief part of Cavidanname in 1048/1639 as Durr-i Yetim will be focused and his work full of abbreviations and symbols in order to hide the meanings within the scope of Hurufism. Hurufi terms will be tried to embedded to text for meaning and effects of Hurufism on Bektashism will be focused. Hurufism, which has been familiar in ottoman geography after the translation of Cavidanname to Turkish will be tried to determine what kind of changes it realized while Hurufism continue its existence with the strives of Dervish Murtaza Bektashi with the effects of Anatolian beliefs
