AN ANALYSIS OF SOVEREIGN WEALTH FUNDS

Although it is a new phenomenon for Turkish economy, the examples of Sovereign Wealth Funds can be found around the World since the 1950s. There are different objectives to set up a SWF, their effects can be seen both in home countries and host countries of global system. As a new agent in the field of political economy, they affect the change and transformation of power, state and market dynamics. In this study, the examples of existing Sovereign Wealth Funds and Turkey Wealth Fund Management Cooperation will be evaluated based on costs and benefits
