Adana In Arif Nihat Asya's Prose

Known as "Poet of the Flag", Arif Nihat Asya, who wrote poems and prose in Republican period, is one of the most significant litterateurs. Besides writing a number of prose and poems, he was a deputy of Adana between 1950-1945. Actually, he was a teacher and mostly pursued this career in Adana. His prose and poetry about Adana take attention. It can be seen in his works about his perspective of Adana and the interest of the resident in him that the variety of the subject is wide. Those works which were generally published in local presses in Adana took place in his books later. In this study, Arif Nihat Asya's hometown, his perspective of Adana and Adana in his prose will be handled. That Arif Nihat Asya has an optimistic point of view about Adana can easily be observed
