Evaluation of Teachers' Instructional Attitudes of Talented IndividualsKeywords: üstün yetenek,Bayezyan t test,??retmen tutumu Abstract: The purpose of the study is to examine teachers' attitudes towards the education of talented individuals according to sex, experience, branch, school type, training for talented individuals. The study was designed with quantitative research methods using relational survey method. 92 teachers participated in the study. “Attitude Scale towards Gifted Education” was used as data collection instrument. This scale was developed by Gagne and Nedau (1985) and adapted into Turkish culture by Tortop (2014). The scale consists of the three subscales of "Needs and Support of the Talented" (NST), "Opposed to Special Services of the Talented" (OSST), "Creating Special Ability Classes" (CSAC) and total test scores. Confirmatory factor analysis and Cronbach's alpha reliability were calculated before the scale was applied and it seems that the scale is appropriate for the participants. According to Bayezyanian t test result, there is strong evidence to accept the H1 hypothesis. Those who are trained for gifted individuals have more than 5 times the NST subscales, 200 times the OSST subscales and 77 times the total scores than those who are not trained for gifted individuals. According to these results it is important to educate teachers about gifted individuals to create awareness
