Diagnosis of Gifted Children

Gifted children who much different traits than their peers should be trained in line with their potentials, talents and needs. For this, first of all gifted children’ identification must be made correctly. However, brilliant and gifted children can be confused. This sometimes leads to the fact that a child who is truly gifted is neglected, or that a gifted child is mislabeled and forced to take an education above the potential. In this context, the present study, by providing information about gifted children diagnosed process in Turkey and abroad regarding gifted researchers aimed to help stakeholders played an active role in their children's education and topics.
