Mathematical Language Usage Levels and Views of the 7th Grade Students on the Rights and AnglesKeywords: matematiksel dil,geometri,do?rular ve a??lar Abstract: The aim of this study is to determine the level of mathematical language usage in terms of rights and angles of 7th grade students and to determine whether this level differs according to students' gender, academic achievement and opinions on mathematical language. The sample of the study is composed of 199 7th grade students who study in schools in the province of Siirt in the 2012-2013 academic year. In the study, the scanning model was used and the geometry learning area success test and the five-point Likert type scale were used as the data collection tool. SPSS 18.0 package program was used for data analysis. At the end of the study, it was found out that students' mathematical language usage levels were generally moderate, there was no significant difference according to their gender, and their academic achievement differed in favor of the group. In terms of mathematical language, it is determined that there is a significant difference in the dimensions of problem formation, concept formation and transformation
