Content Analysis of The Articles Published in Manas Journal of Social Studies between The Years 2012 and 2018

Beggining of scientific journals, which are indispensable tools of scientific communication, dates back to the 17th century. The number of scientific and academic journals is increasing day by day over the world. This increase leads to intensive competition among scientific journals, and also directs the journals to new searches due to changes in science and technology. In this context, it is seen that researches have been conducting on broadcasting policies and performances of academic journals. This paper evaluates articles published in Manas Journal of Social Studies within the years 2012-2018. The articles were subjected to content analysis according to the categories such as number of articles, type, number of authors, author affilations, method used in the article, data collection and analysis method. According to the results, it was found that the published articles were prepared by one author, mainly by assistant professors, in Turkish and on business issues. In addition, it was determined that quantitative research methods, survey as data collection method, convenience sampling method and descriptive statistics as data analysis techniques are more preferred methods
