Thought, Value and Authenticity In The Works Of Necmettin TozluKeywords: Necmettin Tozlu,Dü?ünme E?itimi,Otantisite,?ahsiyet Abstract: This study is titled "Thought, Value and Authenticity in the Works of Necmettin Tozlu" based on an essay "Thinking, Slavery and Information" was presented by Tozlu in a symposium in 1994 and published in his a book named Thoughts on Educational Philosophy, with together his articles, “Values Education in terms of Spirit and Body Integrity”, "On Teachers' Academies", "Teachers and Teacher Training in the Context of Contemporary Schools", "A New Model of Teacher Training". As it is clear from the heading of "Thought, Slavery and Information", the topic of essay is required an interdisciplinary approach, a local and global analysis. The works of Tozlu, like this title, have a content and quality that cannot be regarded as purely academic. Because an academic material can be used to produce thought in that works. A work that does not produce ideas, does not offer views, opinions and solutions to the problems of humanity is problem-free, fruitless and inefficient. As a product of this approach, we encounter an intellectual identity that reflects on his time and society, on the issues of civilization and humanity in general. The man who has personality and authenticity growth only by thinking and values education. In this paper, in the context of Necmettin Tozlu's works on thinking education, values education, teachers’ education, philosophy education will be examined
