Abstract:

With technology; economic, individual, social, political, administrative and spatial changes and transformations that affect every aspects of life are experienced and new networks and new structures are replaced by traditionally acccepted ones. The issue of the study is the institutionalization of the practices of surveillance, control, privacy and spatial structuring with technology-oriented approaches and in association with individual, society, administration and space, along with the transformation of the traditional state after the information technology revolution. In this context, relevant conceptual and historical transformations, disciplinary society, control society, surveillance society, legibility and simplification, visibility, coded sequences of numbers and letters, objectification, numerical forming in the system, eye of power, merging of the eye with artificial intelligence, new concepts and applications, and also in the most basic form of geographical and urban information systems, e-government, e-municipality, e-identity, Mernis, Mobese-llike applications and discussions are mentioned. The study, in which the literature review method is used, is written in order to contribute to the current studies in a holistic approach to the scope of the study with its limitations and in a rapidly changing process. The information and results that set forth in the study are examined in terms of institutionalization of the practices of surveillance, control, privacy and spatial structuring, and in this context, by thinking within a integrity, concluded with drawing attention to what needs to be given importance in the process
