The Effect of Flipped Learning Method on the Students’ Academic Achievement, Computer Attitudes and Self-Directed Learning Skills in Programming Language TeachingKeywords: Ters-yüz ??renme,Programlama ??retimi Abstract: In this research, the determination of the Flip Learning Method's impact on the success of secondary school students, their attitudes towards computer and the levels of self-directed learning skills in programming language teaching are aimed. In the study, quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest matched control group design, is used. 104 students from control group, 88 students from experimental group, totally 192 students form the sample of the study. While control and test groups were being determined, it is regarded that these two groups are to be equal in terms of academic success variable. As data collection tool; success test, computer attitude scale and self-directed learning with technology scale are used. In order to determine the data analysis method in quantitative data, first of all, normality test is applied. While Mann Whitney U and Wilcoxon signed ranks tests are being used in the analysis of the data which don't show normal range, t test is used in the analysis of the data which shows normal range. According to facts that are obtained at the result of the study, academic successes, the levels of self-directed learning with technology and computer attitudes of the students who are studying with the Flip Learning Method are higher than the students who are studying with Traditional Learning Method and the difference between the groups is found meaningful
