Effects of Organisation Culture on Organisational Cynism: Comparing The Public and Private Hospitals

The health sector is a sector in which services for human life are offered continuously under all conditions. The concept of organizational culture is of great importance among the factors that directly affect the individual productivity of employees in the business world such as performance, belonging and job satisfaction. Regardless of their title, those working in this sector; It has an intensive workload in which the negative factors directly related to human life are examined and continuous improvement efforts are shown. This study, which is conducted in order to determine the cynicism effect of organizational culture in health sector and to compare these effects between public hospitals and private hospitals, consists of two parts. In the first part, the concept of organizational culture and the relation of organizational culture with various variables, the concept of organizational cynicism and the dimensions of cynicism are explained. In the second part of the study, data from Public and Private Hospital employees were collected from the literature by means of appropriate surveys. The data obtained were analyzed by IBM SPSS 22.0 program and the hypotheses developed were tested. As a result of the study, it was found that there was a significant and negative relationship between organizational culture and organizational cynicism. When the perception of organizational cynicism in public hospitals and the perception of organizational cynicism in private hospitals are compared, it is concluded that there is a difference between the two groups but this is not a significant difference.
