Determination Of Usage Possibilities Of Some Medicinal And Aromatic Plants Grown In Gürün (Sivas)-Tohma River Valley In Landscape Architecture

Turkey is a country rich in medicinal and aromatic plants. The reason for this wealth; The fact that three phytogeographical regions are located at the intersection of the three phytogeographic regions is due to the fact that many genera and sections are located in the center of origin. As in all over the world, natural flora plants in our country are used in many areas such as food, tea, spices, paint and cosmetics industry for treatment purposes. However, many of these plants are still unknown and not used. For this reason, it is aimed to determine some medicinal and aromatic plants grown in the Gürün district of Sivas and many of which are not yet known and to determine the way of usage in landscape architecture. In this study, a total of 132 medicinal plants have been evaluated according to their use feature in landscape architecture with nine quality (medicinal and cosmetic, ostentatious flowers, ostentatious leaves, ostentatious fruit, fragrance, solitary use, use in floral parterre, border plant, and pruning). As a result, it has been determined that there are 22 plants with six or more properties that can be used in planting design and suggestions on the use of these plants in landscape architecture have been developed
