Abstract: Borderline Personality Disorder is mostly encountered type of client by the therapists who work in its’ field. In general, against the clients who show 10 borderline personality disorders, three narcissistic personality disorders and one schizoid personality disorder clients come to the therapy. In recent years, the new treatment approaches supported by clinical findings in different ecoles have emerged in therapy of borderline personality disorder which has a long term treatment process. Transference-Focused Psychotherapy, one of these approaches, has a clinically proven significant succes in the treatment of borderline personality disorder. This approach, which has formulated by Otto Kernberg, is also known as "Modern Object Relativity Theory". Transference-Focused Psychotherapy, a dynamic-based approach, aims to resolve the identity dissociation and integrate internalized object relations by interpretating the transferences of client under borderline organization in therapy session. In this study, it is informed about the structure of borderline personality disorder, as clarificating the basic strategies and technics of Transference-Focused Psychotherapy (TFP) approach
