Abstract: Skin as largest organ of the body and the first contact place with the environment is one of the organs most affected by environmental factors. In the literature, the effects of environmental factors in the occurance of skin diseases is indicated. Physical environmental factors, especially sunlight and ultraviolet, may cause skin disease. Chemical environmental factors such as some metals, acids and alkalis, solvents, pesticides and tar are also important skin disease agents. Also biological and psychosocial environmental factors may cause skin diseases. Skin diseases include dermatitis, skin aging, psoriasis, acne, pigmentation problems, cancer, etc. may state as diseases caused by environmental factors
