Comparative Investigation on Properties of Ne28/1 Viscose Yarns Produced by Compact Ring and Murata Vortex SystemsKeywords: Viskon,Kompakt ring,Murata vortex,?plik ?zellikleri Abstract: In this study, the properties of Ne28/1 yarns produced from 100% viscose fibers of 38 mm length and 1.2 dtex thickness by two different production techniques were investigated. In this scope, first of all the production plants of the compact ring and Murata Vortex systems (MVS) starting from the blend, and the production parameters were given, and the produced yarn properties were comparatively investigated. According to the findings, it was found that the yarns produced with the compact ring production technique were more durable but thin/thick and unevenness values were better than the yarns produced by MVS; on the other hand, when number of neps and hairiness were examined, it was seen that these values were higher than MVS yarns
