This situation has increased the importance of local government employees. As a result of the change process, local government employees have become the focus of social policies. In this study, the relationship between the levels of organizational commitment and job satisfaction of local government employees was investigated. In the study, quantitative methods have been preferred and ''survey'' method has been used as the data collection tool. During the research, "Organizational Commitment Scale" and "Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale", which were developed by Allen and Meyer and their reliability and validity were measured previously, were used. The data obtained as a result of the questionnaire were loaded into SPSS 22.0 analysis program and number, percentage, average, standard deviation were used as descriptive statistical methods in the evaluation of the data. The t-test was used to compare quantitative continuous data between two independent groups, and the One Way Anova test was used to compare quantitative continuous data among more than two independent groups. As a result of the study, it was determined that the levels of organizational commitment and job satisfaction levels of the local government employees were high and a significant relationship was found between the two concepts
