Local Governments and NGO Coorperation in Migration ManagementKeywords: Migration,Local Government,Non-Govermental Organization,Cooperation Abstract: Individuals or communities migrate compulsively or voluntarily from one place to another for a variety of reasons. It is not right to treat migrations as a mere human movement. Migrations are a management problem at the same time as well as an important sociological phenomenon. With the expansion of the communication possibilities offered by technology, interactions among people have increased. Thus, it is also facilitate for individuals to choose migrations as an option. On the other hand, as in the case of millions of asylum seekers who immigrated to our country as a result of the Syrian civil war, immigration decision can be made as a necessity. Individuals who change places as a result of both compulsory and voluntary actions face new problems in many areas. Many actors are in charge of solving these problems. Local governments and non-governmental organizations are the leading these actors. Today, the fields of activity of local governments and non-governmental organizations vary and the importance given to these actors is increasing. In this context, these two actors are carried out a works ensuring the harmony of those who come after migration and in solving their problems. In addition to the advantages of both actors, there are many economic and legal limitations in their work. When this situation is taken into account, these two actors need to cooperate to overcome the constraints. In this context in the article, especially ,in recent years, starting from the growing number of refugees in Turkey, cooperation between local governments and civil society organizations will be assessed in the management of migration
