The Evaluat？on of the Persu？t of Happyness Mov？e in the Context of Poverty

Because of the reflecting social, psychological, economic and political conditions of the period in which the subject of movies is concerned, it acts as a time machine. In social sciences, movie analyses are frequently used to understand the effects of society's dynamics, war, poverty and migration on people and society. In this article, the movie The Pursuit of Happiness written by Steven Conrad and directed by Gabriele Muccino, is discussed in the context of poverty. The movie was put on display in 2007 in Turkey. Although poverty is defined as the lack of basic food and income that one needs in order to sustain his biological existence, it is a multi-dimensional concept that cannot be dealt with only economically.
