Elderly Women Discrimination And Extraction

The proportion of elderly is increasing rapidly in Turkey in parallel with the world. According to the data for 2015, the proportion of elderly population in the total population is 8.2%, and it is estimated that this ratio will increase to 10.2% in 2023. Accordingly, it is assumed that Turkey soon entered the "very old" category of society. This increase in the number of elderly population will bring many problems to the agenda or make it necessary to take precautions. Therefore, analyzing and evaluating different aspects of the exclusion of older women based on gender discrimination is an important issue. For this reason, a comprehensive discussion of the causes of age-based discrimination based on sex, which has an important place in the problems of aging, will be made on the effect of age on the life of the elderly
