FORTY HADITH TRADITIONS IN RELIGIOUS EDUCATION AND TEACHING ？-THE CASE OF NAWAWI-

Islam is the last religion to guide people to the happiness of the world and the Hereafter. Its two main sources are the Qur'an and hadith. The hadith has been transmitted from generation to generation since the time of the Prophet, which has been transmitted in different ways to the present day. The words, actions and actions of the prophet. Different studies have been carried out in different periods in order to compile, transfer, learning and teaching hadiths. Forty hadith books/treatises, one of them, have been the most popular works in Arab, Iranian and Turkish societies. In this study, forty hadith traditions are mentioned and forty hadith monographs of Imam Nawawi were collected under the title of belief, worship, morality and other hadiths and evaluated in terms of religious education. It has been observed that the hadiths that Nawawi took in his work are of a kind that encompasses all aspects of life, which include faith, worship, morality and social issues, which emphasize many values that can be used in religious education, and therefore are an important source in religious education and teaching
