THE RIGHTS OF CARE CREDITOR TO PROVIDE ASSURANCE IN CONTRACT FOR LIFELONG SUPPORT

Contract for lifelong support is a contract which ensures persons who are not able to fulfil their needs for various reasons, are in need of care and supervision, do not have relatives to get involved personally but have certain assets and especially elderly to be looked after in exchange for onerous until they die. The contract is one of the contracts regulated by the Turkish Code of Obligations. The importance and application of this contract which is widely implemented in our society is increasing with the growing number of institutions that undertake the function of care and supervision.
