The Investigation of Geography and Social Science Student Teachers Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge Self Assessment Level With Regard to Different VariablesKeywords: Co?rafya,sosyal bilgiler,teknolojik pedagojik alan bilgisi,??retmen adaylar?. Abstract: The aim of this study is to investigate TPACK self-assessment level of Geography and Social Sciences student teachers with regard to their gender, field, high schools they graduated, possession of personal computers, and computer use level. Baseline descriptive survey followed with causal comparative method was used in this quantitative research. 130 senior student teachers were included in the study from Gazi and Ataturk University Faculty of Education Department of Geography Education, and Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Education Department of Social Sciences. T-test and ANOVA were used for the data showing normal distribution for the unrelated samples between the components determining technological pedagogical content knowledge self-assessment level and independent variables; Kruskal Wallis H test was used for the data not showing normal distribution. In findings of this research, significant differences were found in favor of males for the comparison of genders’ content knowledge, in favor of vocational high schools for the comparison between general high schools and vocational high schools, in favor of Anatolian teacher training high schools for the comparison between vocational high schools and Anatolian teacher training high schools. In addition, it is found that the student teachers possessing personal computers significantly have better computer use level than the student teachers not possessing personal
